Artist Statement

I am in love with the beautiful: the life beautiful. Life beautiful moments surround us, whether in nature or human connection, and I find being witness to the intimacy between people and the love they share for each other very inspiring. My desire as an artist is to capture the highest beauty – the light of the heart – to reveal the truth and love each family shares and record those moments in photographs with which they can connect and be drawn to fall in love with over and over again.

My work is both intuitive and perceptual in that I do not plan the outcome of my photographs, but instead allow the life beautiful moments to be found as they occur. Each session is unique, organic. There are no preconceived ideas or restrictive concepts, no expectations about what should be happening to get in the way of the natural flow. I don’t pursue the photograph – the photograph finds me. By being receptive to the experience and leaving the moment free to reveal itself, I am able to unify with my subject and uncover the purest expression of the spirit.

Artist Profile

As a small child, art influenced Braddley heavily. Early memories were imprinted by now classic black and white television shows, which has formed the foundation of his photographic style. Even before Braddley himself understood his inclinations and talents, his family supported and encouraged his artistic endeavors. By the age of ten, he had a full graphic design “studio” in his bedroom, complete with drafting table, lights, tech pens and tools. His studio became his retreat and primary creative venue, where he turned out volumes of works endowed with unbridled imagination.

In his teens, a good friend introduced him to the uncharted territory of photography. The sense of capturing a scene rather than creating it was an awakening that forever changed his creative direction. From the onset, photography would be his passion and medium for every personal and professional undertaking that followed.

Today, Braddley lives in the knowledge that nothing is more important than the honest experiences of life. Truth, beauty, and love are the foundations of our greatest joys and triumphs, our sources of pride and elation, and what gives form, meaning and reason to our very existence. The purity of these truths is revealed in Braddley’s lens with finished showpieces that are elegant and faithful tributes to your life and family. More than works of art, they are works of life.
